I used to post everyday, at least for the past 12 months, I have been keeping my blog very active, even when i am on the road, I pre-scheduled a new post every single day, don't know if it is the holiday, or I am just too busy with other things, I kind of feel less motivated to craft, let alone sitting in front of my laptop and write my post. Oh well, I do miss my blog friends and wanted to let you know what is going on the past week......
We found another park near us (on Christmas day)
Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Spring
I can't believe we just discovered this after living here for 18 months, especially it is only 15 minutes drive from our home
it reminded me so much of the east coast, where we often spent Fall visiting nearby parks
wild life....
peaceful and quiet.....
I am really loving all these right now....
♥
I do want to say THANK YOU for all these lovely cards and gifts I received for the holiday
my dear Pixie Lauren sent me a beautiful Paris card, oh how she even know I love Paris, LOL!
a great book on mixed media art and lots and lots of goodies from her recent trip to Hawaii
just look at this Hello Kitty, it is simply Kawaii
a perfect vintage angel card from Ira
and another one with Vintage Santa from Sylvia
Sylvia also sent a pack of yummy chocolate, we all love it!!!
this cute mitten card from Cheryl
came with a pack of Prima butterflies, I can't wait to use it on my project
and from Linda Breedlove, a snowy winter card, perfect for the holiday
thanks so much my dear friends for all the happy mails I received the past week, I have more waiting to upload to my laptop, show it to you another time....

ReplyDeleteI can totally relate, Kirsty! I usually post almost every day, too, but just haven't been doing that since Christmas. With my family visiting, and my daughter's friend from CA, I just haven't had much time. Think we all need a break every once in awhile, right?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you found a new peaceful spot to visit near your home. There's something about being near water that feels so soothing. And love all the sweet Christmas goodies you received. :)

I just love Floyd lamb park.. When I was a kid we would go there for Easter.. Back then they had a petting zoo.. We also went there for our photography class.. We had to get a photo of one of the geese our there.. A close up of there eye! That was pretty hard to do!! I am lucky if I post once a week lately.. OH Well!!!

ReplyDeleteMy friend, I know what you mean; I've been there too with not feeling much like crafting/posting, etc. But after a lenghty stay of not being able to do it for means beyond your control only makes it more fun to get back too... lol!!!

What lovely gifts you've recieved!
ReplyDeleteHave a very magical and creative twenty12

ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Christmas Kirsty! That park looks so inviting - we have nothing like that here - we have to travel 3 hours by road if we want to step on grass in a public place!!
