City Crafter has a NEW challenge theme today
"Get Booked"
Ros wants to see any type of book, it can be tag book, mini book, notebook you make from scratch or alter an old book, fun right? You should go check it out!!!
My project for this challenge -
I started out with a notebook I don't need from Michael's long time ago, I just have that weakness with stationary, are you the same way?
I forgot to take photo of the front, but it looks just like this without the label
and I am doing something called the GLUEBOOK
There is an amazing blog that you need to check it out, Mary Green at Green Paper not only provide tutorial on how to make a vintage gluebook, she also has a lot of free vintage images for you to use, isn't that wonderful?
and I remember her saying somewhere on her blog, that when we die, we can't take anything with us, so why not we "preserved" these lovely vintage images we reluctant to use in a beautiful way
here's the inside.....
this book is going to be my MOOD BOARD
a place where I would like to experiment with colors..... and my ups and downs mood, LOL!
this cute little girl image is from Green Paper, Mary Green also has an online shop that sell beautiful vintage images and she has online classes if you are interested too.
can you already tell which color scheme I am in love with right now?
Now go check out City Crafter Challenge Blog
my blog buddy Sylvia Nelson is our guest this week, she has an adorable book for you as well, AND, she also kindly sponsored a lovely prize package for the winner this week, don't miss out!
