LESSology challenge #3 is - The Doggy Bag Challenge
We all have and love those doggy bag right? Now they are not just good for your sandwich lunch only, I use the brown bag to make a little gift pouch...
I started with stitching all around, and then some acrylic paint...
followed by a little stamping with brown distressed ink...
and then top with any embellishment you like, I make a bloom out of the left-over muslin from my quilting project, a little burlap leave and a tiny scrap of paper
now fill the gift pouch with ephemera, and it is ready go to someone creative!

I wish I can work with a sewing machine, it lookt more beautiful than by hand...but I always end up in a fight with the machine...I love this giftbag!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty Kirsty!!! Can you believe I can't find a brown paper bag? Here everyone uses plastic - I managed to get a Nandos chicken takeaway bag so am going to use that & gesso over the (large) logo LOL!
