Altered box

Ok, I wasn't crafting very much lately, went to Kenny Roger's Concert last night, oh boy, he is 72 and still sing like he used to be....

we are doing a lot of family things the past few days since our older girl Clare will be leaving for collage on Tuesday, sob sob......

and then our family movie night, it is my turn to pick.....

so here, I am sharing an old project I made sometime ago, it was an altered box

I made this for my swap partner Charlene when we do the ATC and Vintage goodies swap

it was a fun event at City Crafter Challenge Blog

the box kind of match the ATC I made for the challenge

I made a "old" postcard to go along...

here's the back of the box...

ok, I will be back tomorrow for my DT project for City Crafter Challenge Blog

and here's a sneak of another altered item (pop by LESSology Challenge Blog if you want a head start)

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Labor Day to all my friend in USA!

  2. When kids leave home- it is a great moment- and a little sad one! It show us that time runs quick and the kids are grown up
!But it makes parents proud to see that the kids will manage now a lot theirself!
    Wonderful box you made!

  8. What a stunning project Kirsty! Every little detail is perfect. I had a similar feeling when we saw Neil Diamond perform in South Africa in April this year...at his age he still rocks.
