Clare at DMV before taking her driver's permit test
growing up in New York City, the girls never have to drive, after moving to Vegas, they realized without a car is like without legs, they can't go anywhere
but Clare being Clare, she just happy go lucky and doesn't care and rather spent her time on the computer than studying for the test
I finally "threatened" her not to drive her to work if she doesn't make her first move by taking the test for driver's permit by the deadline I set for her
it works!!!!! now I am her driving instructor, isn't that crazy? I mean, growing up in Singapore, we had to go to driving school and learn with a qualified instructor, I still cannot get over that here in Vegas, your parent can be your driving instructor!!!!
well, we have been driving for about 10 hours now, she is able to drive to work, park and drive home with me sitting next to her, haven't hit the freeway yet but our target is to take the test by 2nd week of August, let's just HOPE she can make it!!!!
next I am showing you how I turn my chipboard into this
I just love the misting effect on the chipboard
Thanks for stopping by......
Wow, YOU can be her driving instructor? That's unthinkable here in germany. We have to pay special teachers for that, and they are very expensive :( So great though! And love your card! Have a fun day, xx
ReplyDeletegood luck to Clare

Wow ... great LO! ... here anyone can teach but you have to take a theory test and a driving test with qualified tutors ... and it's expensive! A driving instructor charges an average of £25 an hour just to teach ... the test are more costly ...
ReplyDeleteFun layout and very entertaining post :)! Love the misting, the painting and the A+!!!
ReplyDeleteAqui...aula de condução só pode ser na auto escola...Tem minha torcida para ela passar pelos testes! É ótimo dirigir! LO show!!
ReplyDeleteReading your comments.. I wish we had a mandatory driving instructor course... too many kids are taught by parents that don't really care...sad, but true and they are careless drivers for it... anyhoo... on a lighter note :):):) I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee this lo! I loveeeeeeeeee the photo, the key, the butterflies!! GORGEOUS! :):):):):):):):):):):):)

ReplyDeleteYep, I learned how to drive here in Las Vegas. That was 32 years ago. Man am I getting old.. My Dad taught me. He would make me drive our VW bug through the desert.. It was crazy.. I was to scared to teach Jessica.. So Bruce was the brave one and taught her..
