This week I am hosting City Crafter Challenge Blog
The theme is - BY THE SEA
We want to see item related with SEA or OCEAN, things like beach, beach chair, beach umbrella, lighthouse, sand, sand castle etc...
We are being sponsored by Shannon's Sentiments, Shannon is so nice and she let us choose any image we want from her shop, but the funny things is, the DT all ended up with the same lighthouse image, how funny is that, you need to pop over to City Crafter Challenge Blog to see how the DT created their project with the same image but all look special in its own way...
Here's my take.....
I printed the lighthouse image 4 times and used them on the banner
This photo was taken when Clare was 11, she was so happy when she found a dead fish on the beach, now at 19, she has been a vegetarian for 2 years, she wouldn't want to see this picture, LOL!
here's the banner with the digital image...
I used the baker's twine to go round the top of the banner a few times...
closer look....
American Crafts sent me some sample of their newest POW glitter paper, they are so cool, made with a brilliant sparkle that never rubs off the sheet, and run smoothly through die-cutting machines, I won't have glitters all over my face and craft table now, I so want to have them in the Pixie Kit soon
and the background paper bought from Michael's cost only 25 cents (sales price), I spray some Caribbean Blue glimmer mist and all the invisible dots start popping up, how cool is that...
alright, I'll let you hop over to City Crafter Challenge Blog now, oh ya, our Guest Designer this week is one of my sweet blog buddy Steph, you need to go over there to see her creation, it is beautiful!
