I love playing with mists and paints.....

** warning - photo heavy **

Kraft-it-up April Challenge is to follow this recipe -

1 piece of kraft cardstock
2 photos smaller than 6x4
3 different Alpha
4 different patterned paper
5 different embellishment

Wow... fun fun fun......

I started with my kraft cardstock

the cardstock curl a bit after the heat gun treatment

Blooms were stamped with watermark ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder

take a good look at my 4 different patterned paper....... they are all pieces of scraps.....

and in my stash, I found this super old alphabet sticker.... oh good, I was looking high and low to find 3 different alpha to use on this project.....

mission completed.....
letter "Y" from Pink Paislee found in my Pixie Dust Paperie March Kit "Floribunda", love the corrugated part....
letter "O" is a die cut from PTI
letter "U" is misted with tattered angels "Sun Sisters", love this yellow....

you are not going to recognize those patterned paper after all the misting and acrylic paint, love the "dirty" job.....

the cardstock curl even more after all the mists and paints......  so hard to picture the layout with the curly corners

now to the photo.... I used 2 of the same photo, but one in color and the other in grey scale.....
photo was taken at Times Square new year's ball drop party back in 2007 in New York City

now to my 5 different embellishment.....

flowers, that's ONE
ornate plate, that's TWO

memo pins, that's THREE
die cuts, that's FOUR

hope you are able to see the tulle (FIVE) layered and sewed underneath.....

hang in there.... last picture.. LOL

DONE!!!! whew............
