It seems like I am posting more this week, oh well, I have a few projects made and pretty close to deadline.

NBUS Challenge #5

Not only I enjoy this new challenge by PTI on their product release week, I also enjoy NBUS at Darnell's blog. If you ask me why? Well, PTI create along with us challenge gives me an opportunity to take a look at the older stuff I had, and doing it with NBUS challenge, that makes me look into the pile of PTI products I owned and have yet to see ink.

This month, I was inspired by Laurie Willison's holiday tag.

I start looking through my PTI pile (trust me, I have a pile of new PTI products sitting there in my craft room) and found this....

I took a close look....

well, it said 2014, sure qualified for NBUS challenge #5

haha... I am glad I made an effort to go look through my pile (Thanks Darnell!), as this stamp set that was sitting in my craft room collecting dust came out just in time for the holiday projects!

the pumpkin images are so tiny, it is perfect to make a fall wreath

I love paper piecing, and my favorite stamp to used for paper piecing is this flower stamp from PTI.

not only it is fun to put the pieces together, it is also fun for me to used up small pieces of scrap paper that I hoarded.

by habit, I picked up some pink shades of scraps, and then I thought, I should really try some other colors, so I went with the green shade in the end, what do you think?

I am pairing my flower with my favorite MFT leaf die, this time I used vellum paper with white.

Finally, I am ready to put my thoughts into action - getting rid of some of the products stacking up in my craft room and garage.

A vendor from Budapest that works for DH's company came to Vegas to get married, he wanted both of us to be their witness for the wedding, what an honor.

July 4

4th of July, we didn't really do anything special this year, not even going to the casino to see the 4th of July fireworks.

July 7 to 18

We flew to Singapore, this trip is mainly for Clare's concert at the Esplanade

Clare's friend from CalArts went back to Korea for summer break and she flew to Singapore for Clare's concert, we took the kids out a couple times.

meeting up with friends and family is enough to keep me busy while we were there

Clare and Jared came back, just like every other time, we gotta have Korean BBQ when they are here.

Then of course when everyone is here, we gotta to celebrate Papi's 2nd birthday. I bought him a birthday cookie, he really liked it, can't you tell?

Oh boy... I was having a hard time finding something messy for a shot, I am not so much of a neat freak but DH is, so the messiest room gotta be the girls', but since they are not living at home anymore, I have no chance to take a messy shot, oh but what. Didn't I have a corner in this house that is always messy?

haha.... craft table!!!!

I don't know why but I just can't keep this place neat, even a day or two after I clean up the place, it is back to "normal" (normal=messy) as fast as could be.

I am thinking my table is not big enough, LOL! What do you think?
