Project Life 2014
August
For PL August, I was inspired by this journal card from PTI
so I decided to go with that color scheme
August 4
New top - envelope punch box, I just LOVE it!
August 6
We have 2 visitors from San Jose, as president of the Singapore Club here in Las Vegas, we took them out for dinner.
August 9
is Singapore National day, Happy Birthday Singapore!!!!
We also went to Dennis Miller show that night, not a big fan! : (
August 10
SAN (Singapore Association of Nevada) celebrated our National Day on August 10th, that's the picture of the Singapore Girls there, most of us dress in red/white outfit, that's the color of our national flag
August 16
We went to the Don Rickers show, well, this one is better! : )
August 18
We drive to Monterey today, leaving Papi with our neighbor Diane : (
sad face...
this time, we didn't keep him in the laundry room when we are away, we just leave the whole house to him and Diane will come in to check twice a day. I have a Papi cam facing the laundry room, although I can't see him in the cam this time when we travel, but I am happy for him that he can be running free in the house instead of keeping him in a small space.
August 19
At Monterey...... after breakfast at a Paris Bakery near our hotel, we went for a walk by the water, and then DH go play golf in the afternoon, I rest a bit at the hotel and then to the farmer's market at 5 PM

August 20
Driving to San Jose today, it is work day for DH, I just stay at the hotel cafe to work on my laptop.
We arrived at San Francisco in the evening, dinner
is at Peneng Garden in China Town, they have the Singapore chilli crab, my husband claimed it is better then those in Singapore!
August 21
and the bread too.... I wish I could bake bread like this
this time we try 2 new things - sea salt anchovy and potato chips with salt and pepper, yummy as well!

ReplyDeleteThese pictures and pages are great, pretty colors you picked. Papi looks so big, how old is he now? In a few weeks it will be 4 years since we got Lucky. Some days I wish she was tiny again.
