At Our Beautiful World this week, Ros picked the word
WOODLAND
As you already know, we don't really have WOODLAND here in the desert, but since I travel quite a bit, I am not short of WOODLAND pictures.
This one was in Aspen, Colorado, I just love the Aspen trees.
this one is at Aspen Music School, during the Aspen Music Festival in July and August, student often bring their musical instrument and practice in the woods, I imagine pixies making music there.
we caught some other music lovers living in the woods up on Maroon Bell
this is where I took a walk into the woods
I sure miss some of those green living in the desert.

HI Kirsty....fabulous photos this week..I've never seen Aspen trees but they look really interesting, love the white bark against the green leaves. I haven't seen moose either..big scary looking animals. Lovely pics. Have a great week Robyn

Hi Kirsty, wonderful photos from the nature of aspen. Fantasic to see all the different places! The aspen trees are beautiful they look a bit like birch trees with the white bark.
