LESSology Challenge #37 ~ Animal Kingdom

My step-daughter is getting married this July and she wants me to make something special for the gift basket with a request of incorporate The Grand Mesa Poem into the project.

I make a little photo book.......

I stamped deer all over kraft paper for the cover of the booklet because the last time we visited Grand Mesa, Colorado, we did see a few deers wandering...

{Photo: Grand Mesa, Colorada, January 2014}

and my recycling item is this cute polka dots tissue paper Ros used to wrap the present she sent me a while ago. Thanks Ros! : )

it went into the inside cover

the left panel is for the photo of the couple and then followed by the Grand Mesa Poem on the right

a few more pages for photos or personal notes

the sample book was sent to my daughter in law but she said she likes the color purple

so..... the updated version

I still like kraft and green, it is more Colorado, what do you think?

  5. What a thoughtful, sweet, and beautiful gift, Kirsty! I was unfamiliar with that poem, but it is fabulous, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the little booklet you made to go along with it. Such a great idea to add the extra pages for photos, and I love the recycled tissue paper you added inside. You are so nice to change to color to purple for her, but I have to say I think the green works better, too! ;)
