Why didn't I do this more?

On Wednesday, I went for a hike with a few of my friends at Mary Jane Falls, Mt. Charleston, Las Vegas.

Elevation: 8,800 feet. Mary Jane Falls Trails is considered a fairly strenuous hike.

It took us three and a half hours to complete the 2.4 miles hike, but the view is really worth it

the water falls is frozen this time of the year, but I really love that there were not many hikers there.

The walking brings me a wonderful sense of calm and serenity

we had so much fun and I really really laugh a lot today, it makes me wonder: why didn't I do this more?

  5. Life is busy and we forget about the kind of beauty and renewing that comes from being out in nature. I hope this reminds you to do the hike more often, in all kinds of weather. Fabulous pictures!
