San Francisco

We do a lot of these weekend trips when baseball season is on...

2 weeks ago, we were in San Francisco for this

AT&T Park is the my favorite baseball stadium, if you sit on the higher deck, you actually get a view of the bay....

This trip, we sat just right behind the home plate, this is the view we got....

My husband is a great fan of The St, Louis Cardinals, it is cool to get a shot of Albert Pujols...
He is just an amazing ball player and what you might not know is that Albert is a different kind of ball player, I watched a 60 minutes episode weeks ago, an interview on him and the charity work he did, most of it behind the scene without any publicity, it changed my perspective of a ball player, he puts all those celebrity players like Tiger Woods to shame....
You can read about The Pujols Family Foundation HERE
and watch the 60 minutes episode produced by Draggan Mihailovich HERE

Anyway.. my San Francisco trip is also for this....

and this..

You don't want to miss the RED and WHITE clam chowder

and boy oh boy, my favorite dessert here.....

how could you not love this...

I was so into my dessert (Parisian Macaroons) that I forgotten that I had my camera in my backpack that day, so I had to borrowed someone else's from the internet... : )

If you do not know yet, we are a huge fan of food net work, especially the series "Best Thing I Ever Ate", Guy Fieri's "Dinner, Drive in and Dives" and "Bobby Flay Throwdown" we actually tracked them and visited the places they recommended..... this is one ...

how can I not have Singapore Chilli Crab when I get a chance???

Look at that smile on my face, you'll know the trip to San Francisco is a GREAT one!!!

My Multi-Edge Punch Background

I just love making background with my edge punches, lots and lots of them, if you are here often, I am sure you've seen lots of my cards layered with these lace-like edges, this time I am going full swing with a 12x12 background

This layout I made is for a new challenge blog I found recently
April challenge is Black cardstock with Yellow and Fabric

Here's my take.....

as you can see, I layered lots of different edge punches on black cardstock...

and my fabric is actually from a new pair of stocking my friend bought long time ago and didn't have the guts to put them on.....

and these flowers are the result of the pair of stocking.....

more close-ups

I love this photo taken by the Hudson River with the Manhattan Skyline as backdrop...

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #54 ~ Mother May I? /Project 365

To celebrate Mother's Day, Cheryl had a perfect theme for City Crafter Challenge Blog this week

Mother May i?
create a project with the word mother (or any word equivalent e.g. mommy, mom etc)

I make a layout instead of a card this week....

Dolce was so little when we moved to New York City in 2003

Lincoln Center and The Juilliard School as backdrop, they are no longer the same today after the renovation 2 years ago, I am so glad I witnessed the changing process during my 7 years stay in Manhattan, both midtown and upper west side...

I love this bloom and the double buttons, kind of love the effect of stacking a smaller button on top of a big button

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to stop by City Crafter Challenge Blog to join in the fun!

This week we have a lovely prize package kindly sponsored by Cindy, you don't want to miss that opportunity to win
