When am I going to learn???

I am playing along with Case Study Challenge #45

Here's the lovely card by Jill Foster (June Muse)

and here's my take....

I am using the softer tone..

speaking of that, all because I want to use this new stamp set to stamp my own background, guess what happened next....

as usual, after every stamped job, I need to go to the bath room and wash my stamp immediately, guess what, the smaller doily stamp was washed into the drain pipe because I didn't put the stopper before I turn on the tap, when am I going to learn???? this is not the first time my tiny stamp got washed away!!!! And this is brand new, I am using it for the first time, now what? buy a new set because of that tiny one? I wanna cry!!!!

Such a sweet card! :)

Sorry about the stamp...I use this stamp scrubber thing by Gelatins...you spritzed some water/stamp cleaner on the mat and just rub your stamps on it...the mat is washable and the stamp gets cleaned.

Oh poor Kirsty... what a bummer! Well, if you look on the good side of this , at least you made one gorgeous card from it before it was washed away. This is a beautiful card, and when I first looked at it I thought, "now what paper did she use" because it looked like DP. Beautiful job, dear lady!

Beautiful card and a lovely background... Shame about the stamp and I admire your self-discipline to wash your stamps so diligently! I just wipe them with a baby wipe and that's as far as my house/stamp keeping goes! lol ;)

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your stamp! Is it still in the pipe? Can you remove the pipe and fish it out? Gosh, that's terrible.

Your card is super ... I love the printed flowers! The check pattern looks so vintage ... just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your talents.

Oh my Kirsty! I feel your pain!! How jolly awful!!! Perhaps write to the manufacturer & plead with them to just sell you one - it's worth a try!! I NEVER put the plug in but from now on I'm always gonna do it so thanks for the tip! At least you have one very beautiful card to show for that little stamp!!

I'm sorry about your stamp, Kirsty! Why don't you switch to baby wipes instead, they work perfect with all non-permanent inks! There would be no more stamps washed down the pipes :)
Love your card too, especially how you softened the look :)
