pink halloween - for fun challenges

Another fun challenge
Halloween card with NO orange! Pretty cool huh

Here's the link

Here's my take

Anyway, as long as it is not orange, I am still fine with using it for this challenge

The vintage image is from HERE!
Look at this, it supposed to look like that!!!!

But when I printed, it looks kind of dark and redish, can anyone tell me why, is it my printer?

So yes, a PINK halloween card, I like it, how about you?

  13. Kirsty I love pink so there is never too much of it on a card :). I love the image and I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have a printer that decides to change the colors....
But I love how this turned out; gorgeous and yes I see those gorgeous rolled flowers again...Wow!
    Another handmade beauty from you!
    Have a wonderful day!

  19. What a fun pink and purple Halloween card! Love it! Are you running out of ink? I have an Epson and sometimes I start getting funky colors if an ink color is low.

  20. I love the image! It came out a bit pink but matches the colourscheme!! My printer has 6 different coloured cartridges so that when one colour gets low you only have to replace that one. Looks like one of your colours is low - maybe the blue or green, as those are the opposites of the pink tones, which would be why it's coming out more pinky, but usually it should tell you automatically when you click print, if one of the cartridges is low on ink.

  21. Wow, I don't know why your printer did what it did. The original photo is very beautiful, but it worked out okay that it turned red because it's a Halloween card, so it looks a little spooky. Cool layout!
